We are delighted to welcome you to our lemon groves to share with you the aromas, colours and traditions of the countryside around Syracuse. During the tour, you will enjoy a sensory experience among the lemon trees and nature, discovering the unique characteristics of our organic lemons the work our family has carried out for generations. As we walk through the groves, we will share our story, our commitment to protecting the ecosystrem and the importance of agriculture in the Syracuse area. The experience concludes
with a tasting of our Favola extra virgin olive oils, to be enjoyed outdoors among the lemon groves or in our air-conditioned tasting rooms.
An authentic experience designed to introduce you to the culture of lemons and extra virgin olive oil through flavours, nature and Sicilian traditions. During the tour, you will also have the
opportunity to observe the different flowering stages of our lemon trees and discover how each harvest reflects the deep connection between the land, the seasons and our passion for Sicily.

What’s included?

- Guided tour in English, with other languages available on request
- A relaxing and refreshing aromatic walk through our family lemon groves, while enjoying one of the finest products of our land
- Introduction to Favola extra virgin olive oil: varieties, types of extra virgin olive oil, health benefits, and useful tips for proper storage
- Visit to the production areas with an explanation of all the stages and techniques involved in olive oil production
- Tasting of 4 varieties of Favola oil accompanied by small bites, designed to suggest the most surprising food pairings
- You will taste oil and lemons accompanied by typical local products: Sicilian bread and freshly grated lemon zest, a unique combination that will surprise you
- Lots of fun
Duration: approximately 1.5 hours
Conditions:
- Participants, for all experiences: minimum 1 – maximum 30. For larger groups, the programme must be agreed in advance;
- A complimentary gift for participants may be provided at the end of the tasting;
- For groups of more than 4 people, we can arrange a light lunch at an additional cost, to be requested by email;
Cancellations:
- Full refund for cancellations made up to 15 days before the tour date.
- 50% refund for cancellations made 14 days before the tour date.
- No refund for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour.
Children up to 5 years old do not pay.
Children aged 6 to 15 pay a reduced rate. Full rate for 16 years. For any changes, preferences or special requests, you can always contact us!

Do the tours include tastings?
Yes, all tours include guided tastings of our extra virgin olive oil and typical Sicilian products. Details are given in the tour description.
Are the tours suitable for children and schools?
Certainly. We also organize experiences designed for families and school groups, with educational activities and tailor-made visits.

Where do the tours take place?
Tours take place on our farm in the Syracuse area, 15 minutes from Ortigia, among olive groves, lemon groves, and olive oil mills, easily accessible by car. Here you can get our directions.
Is there a transfer service from Ortigia?
Yes, a transfer service to/from Ortigia is available upon reservation for those who wish to use it. Please mention it when booking the tour or contact us on WhatsApp for more information.
