FAVOLA MORESCA
Extra virgin olive oil, obtained from the Moresca varieties and cold extracted in the company oil mill.

Features:
the olive that blushes and knows how to enchant. A delicate extra virgin, but which amazes for its strong character.

Processing:
the olives are harvested at the beginning of the oil campaign in early September, in advance of the veraison in the area bordering the sea in the province of Syracuse. They are milled within 12 hours of collection, to ensure the best quality of the final product.

Pairings:
the extra virgin olive oil from Moresca has a light fruitiness and we recommend it preferably on fish dishes, raw and grilled vegetables.

Storage:
store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources.

Ta oliwa to mistrzostwo świata – polecam Oliwę Favola Moresca – delicja!!! Wspaniały, bogaty smak i aromat. Nigdy nie jadłem tak dobrej oliwy. Polecam zarówno miejsce jak i produkty!!!! Zamawiałem już 2 razy oliwę z odstawą do Polski. Dostawa przebiegła szybko i bezproblemowo. Produkt bardzo dobrze i bezpiecznie zapakowany. Pierwszy zakup dokonałem na miejscu i od razy zakochaliśmy się w tych oliwach!!
Questo olio d’oliva è un campionato del mondo – consiglio l’olio d’oliva Favola Moresca – una prelibatezza!!! Gusto e aroma meravigliosi e ricchi. Non ho mai mangiato un olio d’oliva così buono. Consiglio sia il posto che i prodotti!!!! Ho già ordinato due volte l’olio d’oliva e me lo sono fatto consegnare in Polonia. La consegna è stata rapida e senza problemi. Il prodotto è stato imballato molto bene e in modo sicuro. Ho fatto lì il mio primo acquisto e ci siamo subito innamorati di questi oli d’oliva!!

After we were warmly welcomed by Francesca, we had a magical tour in the olive and lemon grove led Fabrizio who shared his knowledge about growing and harvesting the crops organically and answered our many questions. So interesting! Then we learned about how they process the olives. All of this results in the most high quality organic olive oil. Francesca passionately led us through the tasting followed by fresh bread, olives and cheeses. Her depth of knowledge is vast. I can honestly say that Favola Oliva olive oil is the best I've ever tasted! Grazie Mille 💙

Fabulous day out at Favola Olive Oil. Learned so much about growing Lemons and Olives. The tasting was superb and opened my eyes to what good quality Olive Oil should taste like. Thank you Fabrizio.

What a wonderful tour through citrus and olive groves with our knowledgeable and friendly guide Fabrizio. We got to taste a lemon from the grove and learn all about their pressing process. Fabrizio answered all of our questions and was a delight to spend an hour with. We tasted all four of their oils with light snacks. Highly recommend a stop at Favola when you’re in Sicily!

May 31, 2024Today we visited Oliva Farmhouse (www.agricolaoliva.it) outside of Solarino, Sicily. This special farm is just 15 minutes from Ortigia/Syracusa. We were openly welcomed by Francesca ( her family’s farm) and by Naomi (our tour guide).Naomi started the tour with a history of the farm and a walking tour through the lemon grove and the olive orchard. She explained the processes of harvesting and production.The oil tasting was amazing, like no other we have experienced. The small batch, organic, extra virgin olive oil that Oliva Farm produces is of the highest quality that is available in Sicily, in our opinion!We had a wonderful lunch of regional Sicilian foods and local wine. We really enjoyed the entire experience.When visiting Sicily, make your way to this unique farm. It’s a true, authentic experience of Sicilian craftsmanship and pride in their traditions and culture.

Last week, our family spent a wonderful afternoon at Farm Oliva. We all love olive oil, but knew little about its production. Francesca welcomed us and then we had the absolute pleasure of spending the rest of the time with Naomi - our amazing guide. Our tour given by Naomi was informative and fun. She gave us a brief history of the olive and lemon farm, the area and walked us through the process of olive oil production - beginning with the olive tree, harvesting of the olives to the end result of their top quality, organic extra virgin olive oil. After the tour, we learned how to properly taste and feel the olive oil in our mouth. Each one possessing a different flavor and feel. All outstanding! Naomi - you made our day - it shows that you love what you do! It is obvious that Francesca and her family are passionate about their way of life. Thank you for sharing that with us. We will fondly remember our time spent with both of you and are grateful to have shipped several bottles home to enjoy with everything. We hope to return to Sicily some day! (Ps - I forgot to mention while there that my great grandmother was Rosa Olivo- perhaps we are family!)

My colleagues, and I visited Farm Oliva last Thursday . Francesca was so welcoming and informative. She is clearly proud of their farm and the products they make, which comes across in the tasting experience. What a fun educational experience to understand how different olive oils can be. I highly recommend a visit! Francesca keep up the good work.
