Moresca is a cultivar typical of central-eastern Sicily, characterized by early ripening and a harmonious aromatic profile. This extra virgin olive oil has medium fruitiness, with delicate notes of green apple, fresh grass, and almond, accompanied by a pleasant softness on the palate.
A balanced and refined oil, perfect for enhancing fresh ingredients and light preparations without overpowering their flavours.

Favola Moresca Oil is perfect raw on carpacci, raw fish, salads fresh and seasonal vegetables. Its soft and balanced notes also make it ideal for accompanying light preparations of Mediterranean cuisine.
I purchased the oil which turns out to be really excellent, not at all acidic and without that annoying pinch/aftertaste that others have left me with. Excellent companion to any dish. Very satisfied :)
