The Favola selection brings together three different interpretations of Sicilian extra virgin olive oil.
Tonda Iblea, harvested in the hilly and mountainous areas of the province of Syracuse, stands out for its intense notes of tomato and freshly cut grass, and a medium fruitiness with a distinctive character.
Moresca, a cultivar typical of central-eastern Sicily, offers a more delicate and balanced profile, with hints of green apple, fresh grass, and almond.
Finally, Opunzia, a blend of Cerasuola and Nocellara Etnea, combines balanced aromas with a light fruitiness that reflects the meeting of different areas of Sicily.
A selection designed to accompany different Mediterranean dishes and offer a complete experience of taste, territory, and tradition.

The oils in the Favola selection are processed in our own olive mill to preserve freshness, aromas, and organoleptic properties.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
The product keeps for up to 18 months from bottling.

Tonda Iblea, intense and aromatic, is ideal raw on bruschetta, soups, and dishes with a bold flavour, and is also exceptional on a simple slice of bread.
Moresca, more delicate and balanced, pairs perfectly with carpaccio, raw fish, salads, and fresh vegetables, such as the typical Sicilian orange salad.
Opunzia, versatile and harmonious, is perfect for enhancing meats, grilled vegetables, and traditional Mediterranean preparations.
I purchased the oil which turns out to be really excellent, not at all acidic and without that annoying pinch/aftertaste that others have left me with. Excellent companion to any dish. Very satisfied :)
