Favola Cerasuola is a variety typical of western Sicily that also grows lushly in the Syracuse area. This extra virgin olive oil stands out for its high concentration of polyphenols, natural antioxidants that contribute both to the oil’s organoleptic qualities, such as bitterness and spiciness, and to its nutritional properties.
With medium fruitiness and an intense aromatic profile, Favola Cerasuola presents notes of tomato, grass, and cardoon, making it distinctive and perfect for those looking for an EVO oil with a bold character.

I purchased the oil which turns out to be really excellent, not at all acidic and without that annoying pinch/aftertaste that others have left me with. Excellent companion to any dish. Very satisfied :)
